I want to upgrade the backup server (Red Hat Enterprise Linux 2.1) from
NetWorker 7.1 to 7.1.1! Is it really necessary to remove the "old" rpm's
before installation of the "new" rpm's according to the Linux Installation
Guide??? To me it seems to be more or less a new installation rather than
an update... -of course, the CFIs, media database, and the resource files
will remain untouched.
Isn't it possible to patch the system to the new level???
Or, is it possible to update the packages using rpm -Uvh <new package>?
Do I have to take notice of something when updating?

Thanks a lot
