As you probably know, there are many conditions that could cause this
error. However one that is easily fixed is the incompatible media issue.
If you have Seagate (Certance) LTO-1 drives you MUST use compatible
media. Maxell and Fuji should be fine, many other brands may not. If
this is your problem then you won't fix it any other way than replacing
something. If these are not Seagate drives then ignore this posting.
