In my experience, that's not how All works on UNIX platforms.
All doesn't back up /proc, it doesn't back up NFS volumes, and it
doesn't back up automatically mounted CDs (assuming ISO filesystem) or
DVDs (DVD fs) on other platforms.

It *would* back up zip disks, assuming that the zip disk has a filesystem
that is native for the platform.
