While an E250 may not be able to drive 4 SDLT's adaquately having 4
SDLTs on 1 scsi bus is asking for problems.  You didn't mention if you
were running HVD or LVD SCSI; either way I would limit the number of
drives on a bus to 1 or 2.   Try taking 2 drives off the bus and terminate
properly?
