Ouch...your problem sounds pretty desperate. I typed the error into Legato
Knowledge base and came up with this. Hopefully you've called support and
they've got you going..

Solution Title: Error: 'Error 1067. The process terminated unexpectedly'
Solution ID: legato11308

Here is the solution:
Start the nsrd with a -D20 switch
Monitor the starting of the daemons until it errors out and hangs.
The last client listed is the problem client
Remove the client completly from the configuration and start NSRD process
After daemons come up you can then recreate the client.
Recover the client index from tape if desired

Here is the problem or goal:
Error: 'Error 1067. The process terminated unexpectedly'

Error: 'nsrlmc: RAP error: dead server (severity 0, number 0)'

Error: 'nsrlmc: nsrd did not respond. nsrd must be started before running
nsrlmc.'

Error: 'If nsrd is running, you may have exceeded a resource limit.'

Error: 'nsrlmc: RAP error: dead server (severity 0, number 0)'
