Hi Tim,

Ok i see the point here,  client doberman  is running version 5.5.1,
while the exchange
server is on client version 6.x.Which maybe the case why so many of
these client
report continued savesetas they are of 5.5.x era.

Does that imply i'll need to upgrade all those client to higher versions ?
Is there no global parameter or a workaround i can apply so these
continued saveset creation
may can be avoided ?

If i query for let's say of an exchange database dump which is roughly
size of 60GB,
then there are no chunks generated and hence the output is OK as
below.While if the same
is done for any other unix filesystem e..g /backup of a Database server,
then the backup creates
chunks and the same is reported while querying.



What version of the client software are you running on `doberman'.

Is there anything in the "SS cutoff size" hidden attribute on your server?
