We had to remove OFM 9.1 at our site. It would hange Win2K clients and
it did not allow restores if backup user was not the owner of the file.
I worked with this issue for 1 month and then we realized it was OFM.
In my opinion OFM 9.1 is not full cooked.

Subject: [Networker] OFM Issue maybe?

Relating to a previous inquiry:

We were having an issue with 7.1.1 on Win2K client with OFM 9.0 hanging
partway through backup. On advice from Legato support, we upgraded to
OFM
version 9.1i, and also downgraded from 7.1.1 to 7.1 NetWorker client.

Backup ran smoothly, but in the morning, users weren't able to connect
to
their shares on the client server. Event Log shows multiple "Event ID
2011: The server's configuration parameter 'irpstacksize' is too small
for
the server to use a local device. Please increase the value of this
parameter."

We have looked at MS KB article 198386 which addresses this issue, but
was
hoping for some input from anybody else experiencing this issue.

Thanks,
Carl Farnsworth
