The following script on my machine gives back:

#! /bin/sh

cat <<! |
option resource id
. type: NSR client;name: bagworm
show enabler in use;name;resource id
print
!
nsradmin -i -

root@bagworm # sh k

Resource ID display option turned on

Display options:
        Dynamic: Off;
        Hidden: Off;
        Resource ID: On;
Current query set
                        name: bagworm;
              enabler in use: Yes;
         resource identifier: 0.13.24.84.48.45.255.21.193.78.89.32(1382);

                        name: bagworm;
              enabler in use: Yes;
         resource identifier: 0.15.0.217.49.77.154.248.193.78.89.32(1238);
root@bagworm # cat k

Does that help ?

updating using the resource id restricts the update to only one
client_resource (client bagworm, our legato server has as you can see 2
client resources )
