I would like to see the output of mminfo for the client in question, also why
aren't you asking Legato support, I understand using
the list server for quick answers but so far it hasn't been very quick.

mminfo -q'client=<CLIENT>' -r'level,name,savetime,ssretent' -ot

It's exactly this configuration.

Do you have an idea ????

A problem with the networker version ???

Networker server 7.1 (Win2003)
Networker client 7.1, 6.13 (Win2003, Win 2000, Win NT, Oracle database,
Exchange Database)

I see your setup which should be ok.
What you should double check is that every group has an instance of the backup
server with the proper browse/retention periods.
Failing to do so, at client indexes backup time, for that specific group, the
browse and retention corresponding to the most
conservative
(long) browse and retention of the backup server's instances will be associated
with the client indexes. Itzik
