You can see it just from nwadmin, at least with the Unix version. If you
watch intently as a tape positions for write, it will usually display
the block size as the tape message. After all the positioning messages
it will say "writing, 128KB" or similar, just briefly, before it starts
reporting throughput figures. You might not catch this message every
time, but you certainly can sometimes.
