Hello all,

We are working through a process where instead of using scanner
(takes to long for 1 file), we would like to look at the viability of using
the client index files to retrieve a file that has been removed from the
index files. Example, we have to retrieve a file that is 2 years old (out
of the browse/retention policy). Our browse and retention policy is 1 year,
so the file is really 3 years old.

Regardless, I would like to restore the file without having to scan
the tapes (almost 12 hours in processing). Is there any process of using
the index files to be able to review/select/restore the file(s). Our
environment is Networker 6.1.3 Build 428 on HP-UX 11.11.

Thanks,

Rich
