All start time are referring to backup server's time zone
because savegrp process is a server based bin started by the
server.

So, if you want your server to Atlanta to start to hour X,
and Seattle one at hour Y, fill start time on the backup server
correctly based on timezone difference. If you cannot group
these servers together in a same group, I suggest you to create
more groups and to play with serverbased start time to have
the backups of the clients in the other timezone started
at the right time.

If it's too difficult, you can start backups from the clients,
using crontab, for sample. Use Save commands, specifying pools,
retention policies .... to start backups at the required time.
About the schedule, let the server to play with it or add
the option on the save cmd.

Subject: [Networker] Group start times?

I'm looking at my group configs and something occured. Are the "start
times" all listed as the time local to the server or the client? I have
a server in Atlanta which has a start time of 01:00 for some clients in
Atlanta 03:00 for some clients in Seattle. Are the clients in Seattle
starting their backups at 03:00 Atlanta(23:00 Seattle) time or
06:00 Atlanta (03:00 Seattle)?

:wq!
