We've seen several instances where a tape is not automatically recycled
(set to recyclable) after the browse/retention period.

We see no dependencies, and the 'Recycle" box says it is set to
automatically recycle.

Networker should automatically recycle "recyclable tape" when it needs.
Label the tape into appropriate pool and enable write before manually
mounting a tape for write.

"Writeable" means "writeable for a backup". You don't want to put any
new data on a tape that is recyclable, so Networker marks it read-only.

The 'read-only' flag in networker does not mean that the tape cannot be
recycled, only that backups can't go on there until recycling.

If Networker wants to recycle the tape, it will. Once done, it will no
longer be marked read-only.

If you think it should already have been recycled for some reason but
isn't, you'll need to describe the environment more. Is the volume in a
pool that is requesting tapes? Do you need to set 'recylce to/from other
pools'?
