Well, I finally heard from Legato.

"Hi Philip, 
No, we are not end of lifing the product. In fact End of Support is not until 
Jan. 21, 2005, an announcement did just come out that we will not be selling 
the product after Jan. 21st of this year. Hopet this helps."

I'm still trying to get more info out of them in the way of what happens when 
the support/licensing renewal ends.
