There are no plans to outsource either support or development for NetWare
to a third party.

Here is NetWorker roadmap for NetWare:

For NetWorker Servers 6.1.x and 7.x the old NetWorker 4.2.1 clients running
on NetWare 5.x., 6.0, and recently released 6.5 are supported with the
following caveats.

For NetWorker 7.x servers only:
- LGTpa50711 - Inability to perform a save set recover to NW 7.x server.

For NetWare 6.5 clients with NetWorker 7.x and 6.1.x servers there is
performance degradation by 25% - 30% in comparison to NetWorker client on
NetWare 6.0 and 5.x. We are looking into performance degradation, but we
can't commit that performance will be improved.

For both NetWorker 7.x and 6.1.x servers here are the limitations for
NetWorker clients running on NetWare 6.5, 6.0 and 5.x:
- LGTpa59051 - Can't set location for a volume from NetWare client.
- LGTpa59116 - Can't create a new client from the NetWare client side.
- LGTpa59007 - Can't launch a savegroup from NetWare client.
- LGTpa59057 - NetWare "Remove oldest cycle" doesn't remove the oldest
one.

There will be no storage node or cluster support for NetWare.

We do plan End of Sale for NetWorker server on NetWare by March 31st, 2004.
End of technical support for NetWare server is planned for March 31, 2005.
There are no current plans to End of Life NetWorker client for NetWare.
