Hi.

I've been running a storage node at a remote office for a couple of
years now. Both offices are connected via a VPN (although they both
have high speed ~6MBits internet connections.) I have not had any
problems with the backups not working because of the indexes backing up
across the wan.

One thing that is somewhat annoying happens when the vpn link between
the offices breaks during a storage node backup. Usually that means the
end for that particular backup. Even more annoying is when it's already
doing clones.

If your connection is stable though, I don't think you'll have any
difficulty with your setup. I, for one, find it very convenient to be
able to control both offices from one console.

Dan
