NO YOU DON'T. This is a misunderstanding that seems to have been spread
around quite a lot recently. Recycling of tapes is core functionality of
NetWorker, and needs no extra settings. Auto Media Management is ONLY
for labelling tapes that were previously unlabelled. There are many
NetWorker sites who choose not to use AMM, and their tapes recycle normally.

How do you get tapes that are marked for "recycle" to auto label
themselves on a Solaris Legato Networker Server?  If you can't do it
automatically, how do you do it manually, or both would be much
appreciated.
