Thomas,

Where I have seen this before is when your SCSI path to your drives (and
jukebox) change for some reason.

Check your SCSI controller, the SCSI ID's on the drives themselves and make
sure that your operating system "always" sees (example) [email protected] on
that same address (this is for windows and just a imaginary scsi path). You
can as well "ensure" that your lower tape (tape0) is on a lwer SCSI id than
the other one.

What happens is that the library "knows" where its \\.\Tape0 is and loads
the tape from a slot into it. then the operating system sits at the SCSI
address and waits for the tape to come ready ...

I hope this makes sense and helps,

Regards,
Riaan

Hello,

I have a big problem.

When I restart my Networker Server I have to do a new jbconfig, because the
Networker loads the tapes in the wrong device.

For exaample:

Networker wrote:

loading tape CWM001 into \\.\Tape0

the Tape will mounted in the \\.\Tape0 from the Storage Node.

After a new jbconfig...all is running and the Networker load the tape in
the right tape.

We use

Networker 6.1.3 on Windows and a ATL P3000 DLT Library

Anybody a idea ???!!!
