Hi Craig

Legato used to sell a product called Celestra, which performed serverless
backups, but this is no longer marketed, I believe.

Howdy,

I was just handed a task to figure out in the next week or so and wanted to
know if anyone on the list could offer any suggestions.

We want to look into going to serverless backups. We have Networker v6.1.3
on HP-UX 11i, a SpectraLogic 64000 tape library with 4 AIT-3 drives (and
fiber cards installed but not used at the present time), and a EMC Symmetrix
SAN. Currently, we do not do serverless backups... I'm pursuing the
question of whether our SpectraLogic and EMC Symmetrix are even certified to
work with each other through other channels.

My question is, besides getting the plumbing put together (ie, get the
Jukebox on the SAN fabric), what other requirements/cavets are there in
terms of Legato?
