FYI... Legato thinks this might be a bug. They had me replace the libasm.dll
on the client and after the jobs, the group details claimed a successful backup
but the SYSTEM STATE:\ still failed with a "Sys Vol - Error saving" and only
backed up a fraction of the total files and size.

Email from Legato ..."I'm going to open a subcase for this problem, as I had
another customer yesterday that is having the same issue. A Product Specialist
should tell us if this is a bug or not.

I will let you know his response as soon as I hear from him,"

My environment is...
Server = Win2k SP4, networker 7.1
Client = Win2k Domain Controller, AD, networker 7.1

Phil McDougal.

Has anyone had any issues backing up a Win2000 domain controller with AD? I
have been getting the following error messages when trying to save the DC.
Full or incremental, scheduled or manual, it gives me these errors ever since I
upgraded to 7.1

The server is Win2000 and has 7.1 also. Rights are all Domain Admin rights as
well.

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Phil McDougal
