Hans,
one way to check if the saveset is realy bad is to use the scanner command to
actually read the data and verify that it is readable
furthermore check the state with
mminfo -q'ssid=<savesetid>' -r'ssflags'
it should mention v and F for valid and Finished
================ from man mminfo ======================
ssflags NA 7 The save set flags summary, one or more
characters in the set CvrSENRiIF, for
continued, valid, purged (recoverable),
scanned-in (rolled-in), eligible for
recycling, NDMP generated, raw, incomplete,
in-progress and finished (ended),
respectively.
