We're doing some test-backups of our Netapp servers.  One of
my groups has been using the Netapp for Mac OSX files of
various types.

The problem I'm seeing in our backup tests to NFS mounted volumes
from the NAS is for .sql files and .dmg (disk image?) files.

Here's the complaint during backup:

/smsg-nas1/work save: cannot stat /smsg-nas1/work/OSX Software/Apple/WWDC2003 
10.3beta/PantherClient_disc1.dmg: Value too large for defined data type

The server is Solaris, so I can imagine that this may have something to
do with mis-matched data-types.  True?
