This is not that bad :
- there is important setup information spread between NetWorker admin manual,
NetWorker release notes and SnapImage installation manual and you may stumble a
few times if yo don't read and understand it, but SnapImage is hardly "a bitch
to install"
- if used only for the NDMP tape service, SnapImage doesn't need a raw disk
device. In this case, you don't even need to install all the packages,
LGTOnddrv and LGTOndmpd (for Sun, the names may differ slightly for HP) are
enough.
