This st.conf entry for AIT3 on Solaris 9 works:
tape-config-list =
"SONY SDX-700C", "Sony AIT3 8mm", "SONY_AIT";
If you have updated your OS with patches as of Sept 2003, use:
SONY_AIT = 1, 0x36, 0, 0x19639, 4, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0;
otherwise, use:
SONY_AIT = 1, 0x36, 0, 0x0D679, 4, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0;

Subject: [Networker] Need st.conf entry for Sony AIT-3 drives?
Hi I have a SpectraLogci treefrog jukebox 30 slot with
two Sony AIT-3 drives in it.
I have Solaris 9 on my server and my /kernel/drv/st.conf does
not have an entry for this drive.
Can someone give me the correct entry into this file for
the Sony AIT-3?
Legato said they don't have it.
Thanks much.
