For a particular client you need to list the save sets in date order.
For each save set of each client, go back to the date that corresponds
to your retention period, e.g. 1 month ago, then work back from there to
the latest full backup, and anything after that will not have expired.
The following mminfo command will help:
mminfo -q "client=MYCLIENT,!ssrecycle" \
-r "nsavetime,savetime,name,level,volume" | sort
