[Networker] FW: [Networker] Netware repeated backup by itself

My problem still not resolved yet after below trying. Please shed some
lights again :) thanks

Had tried
- Traditional Netware volumes for problem VOL1:
- Decrease the "retries=1" and increase the client "timeout=120"
- No firewall in between
- All NIC already set to full-duplex

Ryan encounter the same problem
We are having the same problem with 1 of our Netware clients.  It is at the
same revision as our other clients (Netware 6.0 SP3, TSAUP12, Networker
client 4.21, Networker 6.1.3).

It was also doing it before we upgraded to Netware 6.0, ie. when it was
Netware 5.0 SP6a nw5nss5n.exe, TSAUP9, same Networker client/server.

We seem to be experiencing the same symptom ... the volume will backup,
complete .... then restart immediately.  The client indexes are not updated.
Then it will complete, and immediately restart again.  This may happen 8-10
times, and finally, the index is updated, and the savegroup completes.

The other volumes are unaffected (ie. they backup once only), although I do
remember this happening with the other volumes in the past, on this same
server.

I have recreated this client on the backup server, even on a different
backup server (same Networker revision), and had the same results.

Ryan Problem resolved
Spoke with the comms team, and they found errors on the fibre link out to
the remote location, that only appear when we run a backup (it's the only
workout that link gets).
So after some hardware gets replaced, we should be back in the bikkies.

Environment
W2K Bakcup server NW 6.11
NetWare 5.1 SP6 with ClientPak 4.21

Problem
We have two Netware clients 5.1 with the same version 4.2. One of the
Netware server keep on backing up VOL1: repeatedly about 10 over times by
itself. What suprise us is it only keep on backing up VOL1: volume, other
volume like SYS: VOL: are fined. All of the volume fall under the same
backup schedule and this doesn't happen to my other Netware client. So I
suspect problem could due to this particular netware server but don't know
where should I look for.
