Not uncommon, but a very annoying practice, it basicly mean u have to pay
twice for any CPU you wanna use.
first for the CPU itself, then for the Software that has to use it.
The development cost for multi CPU's can't be that much higher than for
single CPUs.
But unfortunately its the buzz word of the software industry these days.
