Re: [Networker] routing of the savestream to a storage node

Correct me if I'm wrong but if your storage node exists on a server different
than your backup server, you'll want to place the storage node first in the
list of Storage Nodes and the nsrserverhost second for the client in question.

Edit the client and change the storage node affinity field
to "nsrserverhost".
Hope that helps,
Thierry

Subject: [Networker] routing of the savestream to a storage node
Hi,
Our Backuplibrary is in an external Datacenter. I've installed a
storage node there. The Networkerserver is inhouse. Now I have the
problem that networker save streams from the clients dirctly connect to
the storagenode. I want to route the stream over the server. Because
only
the Server is able to access the lan in which the storagenode is
located.
In Networker 5.x this was default.
any ideas?
kind regards,
