Hi,

I have working ASMs that were developed for the Cobalt RaQ550
to back up postgres and quota files. We are in the process
of open sourcing the entire software set from these systems,
but unfortunately they are not ready just yet.

One issue I had with both of these ASMs was the need for a
separate restore ASM. I forget precisely why, but I needed
to have the ASM call a separate script during restore. Just
FYI.

As soon as I can, I will send the ASMs. In the mean time,
if you have access to a Sun/Cobalt RaQ550 check out
/usr/bin/postgresqlasm and /usr/bin/quotaasm.
