Are you sure nothing is occurring or are you only looking at the Gui. On
large restores, it takes the server an amount of time to gather all of the
information that it needs. It may be running through the index which gives a
false impression that the restore is hung.

On a directed recover I have had to wait for a couple hours on a restore
where the data information was being gathered. The only place you saw any
activity was an nsr process that was running. Once it gathered the
information then the restore could actively be watched from the gui.

Hi,

we run a Networker server 6.1.3 on Sun Solaris and see the following problem
when doing a directed recover fron on Win2k client to another:
If more than about 4000 files are selected for recover, then the recover
completely hangs after entering "recover" on the command line or pressing
Start in the GUI. No activity can be seen on the server nor on the clients,
no error messages. If less files are selected, everything works fine.
Clients are Win2K SP2 and run client version 6.1.3.
Anyone seen this before ?

Josef
