Good afternoon everyone.

I was curious as to what the best procedure would be for scanning for
new tape drives on windows 2000 with Legato Networker 6.1.3. After a
tape drive failure and replacement, the "inquire -l" command is not
showing the drive available, even though windows 2000's device manager
sees it just fine.

Is there a way to "stop" the inquire service, and restart it, so that
networker is able to rescan and accurately display the new tape drive
without having to reboot the windows 2000 server?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
