Hi George,

I believe u can, as we use our DLT8000 40/80 tapes for DLT7000 drive, we can
get 40GB native and 80GB compress. Reasoning to SDLT, Correct me if I am
wrong :)

Cheers...
Robert

Hi,

If you have a piece of SDLT media that reads: "SDLT I, compatible with
SDLT 220 or 320, 160 GB native, 320 GB compressed" and you use it in an
SDLT 220 drive will you be able to achieve the 320 compression or must
you have an SDLT 320 drive? If not, will you at least achieve the native
capacity of 160?

Thanks.

George
