We just got a BladeStore yesterday for evaluation (its not running yet...).
I've also been looking at Nexsan's ATABeast and think it looks really nice
(better than BladeStore). I've been told it will be available in June with
10.5TB and dual FC controllers for about $49K...

Anyone extensively using File Type devices?  By extensive I mean most of
you data is written to disk first then staged/cloned to tape.



What are you using for the File Type devices?



Anyone using an ATA raid array(Claiiron CX600, Nexsan Ataboy, StorageTek
BladeStore)?  Comments?



I'm looking into the upcoming ATAbeast from Nexsan and I'm impressed by
the price/meg.  Does anyone have experience with any Nexsan ATA based
arrays, either as File Type devices or in general use?
