Thanks, Kit. I just figured out the problem and now it works. I guess
the fact that there was nothing listed under the server's "Clone storage
nodes" field was forcing the server to look for an available clone tape
on its library, not the library attached to the storage node. It works
now, but one question: I cancelled the operation by using Ctrl-C on the
server (that's where I launched it from), and now it's still running,
and I can't stop it. Apparently the source tape was created some time
ago with a block size of 512 bytes. We did not have our /etc/stinit.def
file set up at that time, but now we do so we no longer see these
messages on tapes that we've created since then. NetWorker immediately
noted this as not being 65536 bytes and then issued the "Tape
positioning by record is disabled" message. Of course, the saveset that
I was tring to clone is like 7000 some records into the tape, and now
NetWorker is trying to forward to it which will take forever. I would
assume that if this tape had been created with the correct blocking
factor, and if I had cancelled the operation after it got to the correct
place on the tape, then it would not be aimlessly running like it is
now.

What should I do to stop this? Should I just shut down and re-start
NetWorker?

Thanks.

George
