Have you added/removed anything physically or logically to your scsi
environment lately?  I had a problem sort of like this when my jukebox
handle changed because of changing my scsi setup(moved some
drives/changer to a different controller).

Just a suggestion.

We have 2 Quantum ATL M1500s with stacklink, on a Sun E250/Solaris7
running Legato Networker 6.1.1. We are currently getting I/O errors
reported by Networker and cannot load/mount tapes at all.

We've tried various ways of reseting the hardware but we think this may
point to a hardware failure ? Can you explain what the SJI error relates
to and what our options are for fixing it. Is it a drive failure ?
Worked fine for several months until now.
