First use of the 'list', so bear with me...

We are using Networker Module for Oracle (v3.5) to backup Oracle DB's (from
Oracle RMAN) on HP H-P UNIX and DEC Tru64 UNIX OS's to a Networker Server
(v 6.1.2) operating on the HP platform.

The question: Is there a known reason for problems with restoring, via
RMAN, a Tru64 hosted DB to the H-P UNIX platform?  We have tried the
operation and Oracle complains that a file retrieved "is not a valid backup
piece".

Any thoughts, observations, or actual experience would be appreciated.
