I got the same problem with installing my client 6.1.1
Hello,

I got the same problem with installing my client 6.1.1 on SLES 7 ( suse ).
As far as i know ncurses cares about semi-graphic display ( and i don't want to
upgrade glibc version ),
so i force the installation of the rpm and it works fine ( both saving and
recovering ).
I still got a little problem when i want to browse in the past but this is a
known bug ( in 6.1.1 ) and i must
use nwrecover -T 'date to recover'

Hi:

I'm using lgtoserv-7.0-1.i686.rpm on Linux 6.2.
When I run:
[root@rhtest oracle]# rpm -iv lgtoclnt-7.0-1.i686.rpm
error: failed dependencies:
        libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.2) is needed by
lgtoclnt-7.0-1
        libncurses.so.5 is needed by lgtoclnt-7.0-1
===================
I installed from the RedHat 7.1 CD:
[root@rhtest RPMS]# rpm -iv
glibc-profile-2.2.4-13.i386.rpm
Preparing packages for installation...
glibc-profile-2.2.4-13

I still get the error: Can somebody help please, TIA!

Vishu
