Hi Tommy,
Using nwadmin (the one for NetWorker, not NetWares), make sure you
have specified a user and his password, in the remote tab. This user
has to have should have SUPERVISOR rights on the volumes, and NDS if you
are backing it through this box.
The second thing to look at, is the error messages stating something
wrong with TSAxxx.NLM. Try loading TSAxxx.NLM as soon as possible, and
NetWorker as late as possible, when the server starts. Look at the
AUTOEXEC.NCF. Otherwise, you could also try to shutdown NetWorker GUI,
and run: nwdown at the server console. Unload TSAxxx.NLM and maybe
SMDR.NLM. Then load them again. SMDR.NLM first. But wait a bit until
you start NetWorker. That way you should be 100% sure that TSAxxx.NLM
is loaded and running. Then start NetWorker and try again.
I have seen this before, a lot of our customer have had it, but I
haven't seen this lately.
