The reason why I am interested on the topic is that on my W2K servers,
I get an incremental backup as large as the full backups on my large

When I conduct a test on the same server with a small saveset there appears
to be nothing wrong. ?

Unless Legato has changed their algorithm again in the last couple of
years (which is entirely possible), in addition to the modified date and
archive bit, the Networker Windows client also looks at the created
date. I ran into this problem a few years ago. I had several Windows
boxes that didn't have a valid Created dates on most of the files (due
to a Microsoft problem). Each of the files that didn't have a valid
Created date, was always backed up. This ended up causing most of the
filesystem to be backed up every night.
