Hello

My configuration is

Networker server 6.0.1 on W2k with Unix, linux and windows clients.

I recently change my server and now i got plenty space to store my indexes. So
i change my browse
policy to made recoveries easier.

How can i add to my indexes information savesets which where recoverable in my
old configuration, but
which can be browsable now.

Reading the documentation, i found scanner -i can do it, but i have some
questions:

- scanner -i rebuilds also the media indexes ( i don't want it )
- what's about savesets crossing differents tapes
- what's about a saveset for which entries already exist in the indexes
- does scanner add entries to existing indexes or rebuild them from scratch

Any links are welcome

thank you

francis
