Do the following to dedicate the backup of index to local
device of NetWorker

Create a pool with the following parameters
name: index (for exemple)
Label Template : what you want ...
Groups : check every active group
Devices : Check the local device(s) of your server
Name: index
      bootstrap ( one word per line)

It should be ok ...
