Sorry, I misunderstood the issue.

Do you have a tape device on the server?  You *can* use a file-type device
for this, but this leaves you *very vulnerable* to disaster.

If you have a Default volume labeled and mounted (tape or file) on server,
it should at least catch the bootstrap, just by virtue of nowhere else to
go.  The server's Client resource also needs itself (nsrserverhost)
included under "Storage Node" field.

If you do want to create a special pool for Bootstraps, specify all Groups,
and under Saveset, specify "bootstrap".  You can also include "index:*" to
include all indexes.

If you use file-type devices, it's a good practice to establish a procedure
where every month or quarter, a new file device is created, labelled and
mounted, and the previous "volume" unmounted.  This helps with volume
management (disk files don't get cleaned out automatically, but you
probably want to keep at least a month's history available).
