The steps are below;

1.Install NetWorker client on the machine, make sure you have a valid
full backup of this client.
Make sure the client is not the NetWorker server.
2. Install legato license manager on a server can be the client that you
wish to install NRM
3. Install the NRM enabler into LLM from the command line.
4. Make sure NetWorker server no about the LLM.
5. Install the NRM 2.0 client software.
6. Reboot the client.
7. Start up the NRM application.
8. Specify the NetWorker server in the appropriate area.
9. Add the NRM client to the NRM console. Which will be the local
client.
10. Create an ISO image
11. Schedule the creation at intervals to correspond with a software
change or hardware change.
12. Write the ISO image to CD.

Now you can boot from this CD, recreate the partitions, install a mini
OS. Then connect to a NetWorker server and perform a full restore.

We have tested this procedure on a few servers.

Subject: [Networker] Legato NRM - W2K environ

I am getting conflicting information from Legato on this product. In an
all
Windows environment, besides installing License Manager, are there any
server binaries required to run this software? Documentation indicates
there is not and some support staff agrees however the current support
person working on this case believes there is a server component.

I have installed Networker 6.2 and License Manager on a Windows 2000
Server.
I added enablers and authorization codes for Networker Server and NRM.
From
the client, another W2K server, I installed the Networker client for
backups
and am attempting to install the NRM Client, which is called DRM.

Has anyone on this list used NRM in a similar environment? Is there
another
component that is missing?

TIA
David
