Hi,

Today I worked on it and found something.
After snapshot mounted to server I checked with explorer and see the U drive.I 
can reach drive with explorer and copy delete in it.Then I opened device 
manager-disk admin.Rescan disks.Disk manager changed drive letter U to F.Before 
this I tried with Legato user program whether I could see the U drive and sub 
directories.But I could not.I manuall changed drive letter from F to U and then 
restart server.After that I could see U dirve and its data with Legato user.I 
have done a manuel backup of U.After successful backup I do undo job for 
snapshot and see drives dismounted.Take again snaphot of 3 disks and now Legato 
user program can see U drive without problem.at 3:00 am tonight savegroup will 
work and I will check whether save set includes U drive.

It looks to me as if the U: drive never mounted.  I would check that it did
indeed mount, and verify that you can copy data off of it when it is
mounted.  If the OS can't see it networker can't either. If you can see it,
then check the OS permissions on the volumes when they are mounted.

Hi all,

I have a problem with backing up snapshot drives.
Legato server version is 6.2 on W2k SP3
I am taking snapshot of 3 disks in a MS cluster oracle database and then
mount the volumes to the legato server.
After I started savegrp I take the following error in savegrp report.
V: and W: are working good and these are also sanpshot disks.
I get alsoo same error when I mount the snapshot of Mscluster Quorum
disk and start back up.

All hardware is compaq.
