Thanks! We are indeed using Seagate drives. The media is from Imation,
but we did not specifically request Imation. We received this media,
along with the tape library, on the same purchase. We bought everything
together. This was the media the third-party company delivered with the
unit. We did not buy the library directly from Storagetek, though. Maybe
if we had, we would have received media from a different company -- one
that Storagetek recommends. I've not heard about any manufacturers,
though, that Storagetek does not recommend. Will look into it. Has this
problem occurred only on the Seagates?
