Re: [Networker] Moving /nsr/index in 6.1.2

Assuming we're talking about the same goal (moving /nsr data from one disk
onto another, right?) I've just used the following procedure:
1. shut down NetWorker
2. create a tarball (tape? disk? whatever) of /nsr
3. umount /nsr
4. create new /nsr and mount it
5. explode the tarball
6. re-start NetWorker
So far, I've done this on (I think) six systems, without any problems,
usually with tarballs ranging 15-25 GB. (In one case, my /nsr fs was 66GB
before I went to tar it up, so I had to use GNUtar instead so that I could
span tapes. Again, no problem whatsoever.)

Subject: [Networker] Moving /nsr/index in 6.1.2
Hello all,
Has anyone had success with moving the indexes in Networker 6.1.2? I read
I can move them with UNIX cp command but wanted to ask the field to see if
there is a better way.
Thanks in advance.
PS - The reason for the move is I'm moving my /nsr directory currently
mounted on an EMC Sym to another, seperate EMC Sym.
