I'v had a lot of problems with my G-bit Compaq nic's.
Finaly i got a solution from a Compaq-technician that
works for me:
You hav to run regedit on the w2k-client
In MyComputer/HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Control/
Class/{.......-....-....-..................}xxxx(your nic) you have
to change TransmitMode REG_SZ to 0 (on my server from 3). Reboot your
client-server and I was running.

I have driver 3.63.363.0 installed with w2k sp2 networker 6.12, but still
facing the same issue.  Pls let me know where to obtain the intel driver
for nc7131 in order to backup my servers in the interim.  Thank u.
