now that you have done the scan, you have to do something with nsrck to get
the client indexes just right. I would do the save set recover, but refine
the save set recover to just the file you want.

Hello!

I am running Networker version 6.1.2 build 340 on W2K.

I am trying to build an index for a large save set that was once sent to the
Offsite pool. Index entries was turned off at the time.

I have the SSID, but when I run scanner -I it refuses to put the entries in
the index even if I turn this parameter on in the Offsite pool. I am running
some tests on my disk system, and I see the same thing happen there.

The command I run is:
scanner -iv -S XXXXXX C:\file1

The command runs fine, but it does not build any index on the file level, it
just build the media index.

Can anyone help me? I do not want to recover the whole saveset just for this
one file(80 GB).

Sincerely,

Mike
