Taking over Network from someone who just left is oh so much fun.
Please deal with my stupid questions over the next day or so.

Current situation. Our primary media is a "file" which is a directory
mounted on /mnt/legatodisk1/onsite through /mnt/legatodisk5/onsite. I'm
in the process of using "mmrecov" to rebuild my indexes after a crash an
it is taking forever. Literally about 30 mins per mount before it'll do
the read. The physical disk is nfs mounted (gigabit ethernet, private
network) from different servers.

Any thoughts on how to speed up access of these files?

Thanks,
  Robert
