A recent thread about efficient ways to perform incremental backups of
100,000 files got me to thinking about using NetWorker's Change Journal
support.  I read up on it, liked it, and used the Legato-supplied NetWorker
Change Journal Manager to enable Change Journal backups on one disk on a
Windows 2000 system (the D:\ drive).  I was gratified to see that Change
Journal backups were enabled:

  labhydra: C:\                     level=incr,   5768 KB 00:00:29     55
files
* labhydra:D:\ save: The NTFS Change Journal will be used for this save.
  labhydra: D:\                     level=incr,   3514 KB 00:00:17     59
files
  labhydra: W:\                     level=incr,      0 KB 00:00:01      0
files

So, imagine my saddness to see that, mysteriously, Change Journal backups
did not occur on following nights:

  labhydra: C:\                     level=incr,   5881 KB 00:00:35     56
files
  labhydra: D:\                     level=incr,     25 MB 00:11:16    423
files
  labhydra: W:\                     level=incr,      0 KB 00:00:03      0
files

I believe that Change Journal backups are not occuring because (1) I don't
see that message and (2) the backups take much longer.

And yet, NetWorker Change Journal Manager says:

"The volume's Change Journal is active and available"

and both "NetWorker Uses Change Journal" and "Enable Change Journal for
Selected Voluems" are checekd.

I'm using NetWorker for Windows V6.2 Build 109 on the system, which is its
own NetWorker Server.
